SHOT 5/5/08 6:12:27 PM - Rim Tours owner/guide Matt Hebberd descends off of Murphy's Hogback on the White Rim Trail. The multi-day mountain biking trip through Canyonlands National Park on the White Rim Trail is one of the most scenic and truly unforgettable rides in the country. The trail is a 103-mile loop on a jeep road through Canyonlands National Park that passes through some of the most beautiful canyons and scenery in all of the Southwest. Technically, this trail is fairly easy but the length (and a few stiff climbs) means you need to be in good condition to complete the ride. The major climbs add up to 4000 vertical feet, but an altimeter or GPS unit that records every little up-and-down will give you about 6000 feet total..(Photo by Marc Piscotty / © 2008)
