SHOT 4/19/2007 - University of Denver international studies freshman Patrick Cole, 18, of Littleton with his service dog "Cooper", a five year old male black lab. Cole has cerebral palsy and uses crutches and a wheelchair to get around with some help from "Cooper". Cole received "Cooper" about three and a half years ago from Loving Paws Assistance Dogs and said the dog helps him pick up household items he may have dropped or helps him open doors and such. .(Photo by Marc Piscotty © 2007)
