Kelly mentors some 200 at-risk youths daily focusing on prevention and the after-school program he runs located at Wyatt-Edison Charter School. He has been trying to break the cycle of violence and gang involvement for more than 25 years. At one point Kelly did prison time of his own, but he was inspired to turn around his life and those of others.
