Denver artist Julie Puma (cq), 40, photographed next to some of her work that opens with a show entitled 'The Pink and Green Afterlife' at Space Gallery on Santa Fe Drive. Puma's mother and sister both died of breast cancer and Puma herself has undergone a double prophalactic mastectomy, a preventative surgery to avoid breast cancer, herself.
