Vesta Lingvyte of Denver, Colorado holds the shed exoskeleton of a crab in her palms on a beach just outside of Lo de Marcos, Mexico. Lo De Marcos is a town in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. It has a year-round population of around 2,500, which swells to 3,000-3,500 between November and April. Lo de Marcos is a standout town and is known for its peaceful and relaxing nature. While many of the neighboring towns have evolved into hustle and bustle tourist destinations, Lo de Marcos has remained quiet and colorful with wide streets, friendly people and one of the most beautiful town squares in the area. It is this calm charm that keeps Lo de Marcos feeling like a true Mexican village.
