MAP101 Boulder Creek

C.J. Fox (right), 21, of Lakewood passes by a bridge crowded with onlookers after dropping over a small waterfall on Boulder Creek Monday July 10, 2006 while tubing a section of the creek near Eben G. Fine Park in Boulder, Co. Fox said he has tubed the creek before this year but when it was much lower. Recent rainfall has significantly raised water levels on local creeks and rivers including Boulder Creek in Boulder. The rainfall has added to water levels enough to make Boulder Creek a fun place to play in on a tube but also has made it a potentially dangerous place with fast moving water and numerous branches in the water..(MARC PISCOTTY/ © 2006)
