SHOT 5/21/2003 - Despite concerns over the ongoing drought and an ever decreasing water supply, farmers in Rocky Ford have gone ahead with planting this year although on a somewhat scaled back basis. Rocky Ford farmer and rancher Vernon John Proctor was planting corn that will feed some of his livestock.
