Sen. Jim Isgar, D-Hesperus, is probably the last true rancher to serve in a legislature that was once controlled by the ?Cowboy Caucus.? He owns Isgar Ranches with 125 head of cattle and sells hay and grass for feeding. He is holding an 80 pound bale of grass hay.
