SHOT 10/25/2007 - The Colorado Rockies have long been the forgotten team in the Denver sports landscape taking a back seat to the Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche and even the Denver Nuggets. After putting together an historic late season run to make the playoffs and sweeping their way through the NLDS and NLCS fans have jumped on the Rockies bandwagon in droves and interest is at an all time high as the World Series heads to Denver, Co. for the first time ever this Saturday even with the Boston Red Sox up 2-0 in the series. Rockies fan Brit Horvat, 23, of Denver reacts to a missed opportunity by the Rockies during Game 2 while watching the action with her roomate at the Sports Column in LoDo in downtown Denver Thursday evening.
