SHOT 3/28/2007 & 3/29/2007 - Lauren Tipton of Fort Collins runs the Ahimsa Ranch Animal Rescue on 35 acres near Wellington, Co. The ranch is home to about 50 rescue horses as well as goats, dogs and a range of other animals that she has taken in. Tipton said that more than 100,000 horses are slaughtered every year almost exclusively for export to foreign countries where it is considered a delicacy.
