SHOT 1/18/2007- A surfer stands on shore checking the waves just before heading out into the ocean to surf in Sayulita, Mexico. Sayulita is a small fishing village about 25 miles north of downtown Puerto Vallarta in the state of Nayarit, Mexico. Known for its rivermouth surfbreak, roving surfers "discovered" Sayulita in the late 60's with the construction of Mexican Highway 200.
