SHOT 11/29/2007 - U.S. skier Bode Miller (right) walks to the podium with U.S. skier Ted Ligety (left) at the Men's Super Combined at the 2007/08 Charles Schwab Birds of Prey ski race in Beaver Creek, Co. The event was won by Swiss skiier Daniel Albrecht (2:00.26) with French skiier Jean-Baptiste Grange finishing second (2:00.93) and Czech skiier Ondrej Bank finishing third ((2:01.23). US skiier Bode Miller finished just out of the medals in fourth (2:01.28) and Ted Ligety finished eighth (2:01.67). Thomas (TJ) Lanning finished tenth (2:01.89). Miller, always a controversial figure in skiing, quit the U.S. Ski Team in the offseason to race on his own.
