M.O. Alford, 35, of Nederland rides on the Hobbit Trail 1 in the West Magnolia Trail System near Nederland on Wednesday August 2, 2006. The eight to ten miles of trails in the system were ridden illegally for a number of years until the Forest Service incorporated the trails into their system about two years ago.
