Shot on 3/21/05 - Monty Lemley of Greeley, Co. made it oiut to Wings Over The Rockies museum Monday to see President George W. Bush for the third time. Bush held one of 60 "Conversations on Social Security" Monday with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. at the Wings Over The Rockies Museum at the old Lowry AFB in Denver. Some have criticized the event as an infomercial for Bush's social security reform as the participants alllowed to ask questions have been screened and hand picked by the White House. The event was open to people on Bob Beauprez's e-mail list and is the President's main platform for selling the biggest domestic priority of his second term. Bush is hoping to turn public opinion on social security reform in his favor. He hopes to divert payroll taxes into private investment accounts and solve a looming shortfall in the current system. .(Photo by MARC PISCOTTY/ © 2005)
