Ruby Hill Rail Park
SHOT 1/22/2007 - Ryan Resch (cq), 25, of Denver rides a rail at the Ruby Hill Rail Yard Monday January 22, 2007. The Ruby Hill Rail Yard features six rails for skiiers and riders and is the first-ever urban rail park in the country. Admission is free and the project is a partnership between Winter Park Resort and Denver Parks and Recreation. The part man-made, part natural snow surface is expected to last well into February weather permitting. The park opened Saturday January 20, 2007. Resch said it was his first day at the park and said he thought it was "pretty solid" but wishes they had added a bit more variation in the types of rails at the park..(MARC PISCOTTY/ © 2007)
