SHOT 2/17/19 11:31:17 AM - A brightly colored roadside capilla outside a home along Highway 307 in Chunyaxche, Quintana Roo, Mexico. The capilla featured a Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe statue and painting as well as multiple flowers on display. The capillas are often dedicated to certain patron saints, such as Nuestra Se√±ora de Guadalupe. Often times they contain prayer candles, pictures, personal artifacts or notes. Muyil (also known as Chunyaxche) was one of the earliest and longest inhabited ancient Maya sites on the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is located approximately 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) south of the coastal site of Tulum, in the Municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico.
